On my latest (july) paychit I've had 7 days LSA money taken off me. As a result I've I-supported and spoke to HR and they aren't sure why. So as I was thinking about it I was home for RnR for 7 days and my question is thus, is it normal to have your 7 days LSA for RnR reclaimed off you? Thanks dudes.
 
No shouldn't happen but if they bring you back on RnR through JPA it will cease your LSA. Ask PSF to check your movements & see if you've been 'arrived' back on RnR; if so get them to sort it.

You do not get LSA while on R&R. Under the old rules you had to be away from theatre for 10 days for your LSSA entitlement to be affected, but that changed in Apr 06. Bit of a bummer, really.::(:

Difference of opinion here. Must say we've never stopped LSA for RnR but haven't got the JSP to hand to say if we've been doing it right or not!!

I looked long and hard at it while OOA last year, so I'm afraid it's true. The input to stop and re-start LSA was done by the JPA clerk in theatre so parent units may not be aware.
 
I was in the sand pit earlier this year and we had to stop LSA for all RnR. Caused its own problems in that when we started it back up it somethimes missed the remainder of the month off, but then you got normal month the following month. The marvel that is JPA!!!
 
LSA is definitely stopped whilst on R&R, and should be actioned by theatre as it is assumed that not all pers will return to Units on leave.
