Has anyone got any good gen on who the best companies to hire a car from are? I'll need it for a week so if there are any firms who give better deals for that sort of thing I'd appreciate the info!

I've always found enterprise good....

They do a forces discount when you ask and they will pick you up to collect the car, and drop you off after it's return..

I used this lot last time I hired a car and they were 1/2 the price ofthe rest.

I always use National Car. If you book online one day before you need the car,
you almost always get an upgrade as the car you wanted is "nil stock".
