After some info guys.

A few years ago after flying back into Brize from the Falklands i was entitled to a flight from London to Newcastle as i was stationed at Boulmer. I remember reading somewhere at the time something along the lines of 'entitled to flight to nearest UK Airhead if stationed in Scotland, Boulmer or Spadeadam'

Does anyone know if this is still the case and if so where i can i find information about it?

Thanks,

Mac.

When OOA recently the admin dorks in theatre booked flights to Scotland for all the Scottish based pers to coincide with their RTB.

Thanks for the help guys. Been looking in JSP's 752 and 800 today but can't find anything on it. I'll speak to unit HR and hopefully get a flight!

I certainly got a flight from Heathrow to Newcastle a couple of years ago when I came back from BSN on R&R, jolly nice drink in the terminal 5 business lounge too!

Seem to remember it is a circle based on Brize with a radius of Newcastle - if you are north of the line you get a flight etc..

Remember though that with transits each end and check in times the MT option may be quicker. However the use of a shower, some food and a couple of drinks at LHR is a bonus, as was the look on my children's faces when I walked out of arrivals at Newcastle.
