SAC(T) in Brazil

  • Following weeks of work, the E-GOAT team are delighted to present to you a new look to the forums with plenty of new features. Take a look around and see what you think!
Been watching the BBC Breakfast news this week (in between weather lust - you know who I mean) there has been a series of filmed reports from Steph McGovern at the World Skills Competition in Brazil. I am certain that a UK entry (medallist?) in the Helicopter maintenance category was wearing green overalls with SAC(T) slides. Anyone know anything for certain?

World Skills has been running for years the RAF regularly enter a couple of bods into the UK trials. There are usually 6 trialist's 2 RAF, 2 Navy and 2 Civvy all are trained and tested then after months of work two are selected a finalist and a reserve. Sometimes a civvy gets picked (rare), or a Navy spanner twiddler but mainly it's the RAF. It's held every two years and I can think of 3 SAC (T) two guys, one girl who since 2009 have represented the UK at world skills.

Anyone want to start a book on how long it will be before he's trapped in a golden poaching net by BA Systems or Boeing or whoever...
