52 eh. Will be interesting to see how many are promoted near-on instantly and how many are throughout the following year. Unless the 52 are the first lot up. I must admit the new system still confuses me a tad !

52 will be the quota that they want for the year, I hear ther are still promoting people from last year.

What new system? I have no idea what you are referring to there.

Nor have I and I,ve just come back from a brief at Air Command. Rather than disappear down another rabbit hole here is some good gen.

The reading cell at ACOS manning award a score based on rank to be boarded. In the case SAC-Cpl, last 4 years. However, if you get a spec rec in new money, ie recommended for promex next two ranks up, you will be awarded a score for missing years seniority and graded as a 'C' candidate. In the unlikely event you were awarded a spec rec in year one it would be ignored. Boards do there stuff as per normal under the guidance of a president. Interesting boards and reading cell are pretty close when it comes to the selected promotion list.

Top tip, equal weight given to performance and potential despite size of reporting field, plus missing assessments no longer get an assumed grade. Make sure your ROs read the guidance properly or get of their butts and get down to ACOS.

There are 5 possibly 6 at Leeming.

Heard the first 4 off the board were going to instructor duties then next 4 to the wing.

Also heard No 1 turned it down

Ha ha the jungle drums are at it already. Apparently no 1 is at FCN and no stories of it being turned down there.
 
it was the person who is the possible 6th one at leeming who said that like, he was 54th and said number 1 turned it down due to being pregnant and another of the immediates was in the process of re-mustering

But as you say it doesn't take long for the rumours to start
 
7 at Brize it looks like. A few real surprises in that the people everyone expected to, aren't and some have who no-one thought would
 
this may be just a rumour someone has started but i have been told the numbers are being cut to 40 promotions in total has anyon else heard anything like that :PDT_Xtremez_21:

I think you will find that it is simply a rumour by the uninformed.
 
SAC - Cpl promotion quota = 16 personnel first six months dependant on trade FMDL.

Released on this months Chief Clk Bulletin.
