Sage advice from an old duffer

At RTS, especially after the first three weeks, "I had diarrhoea, Corporal," always seemed to work if I was a moment or two late. In general, though, don't try and lie your way out of trouble. Own up and apologise without making excuses or blaming others. You will be respected for it. And take any teasing about whatever it is in good part. Which leads me on to banter. Don't lose your rag but equally don't hand it out if you can't take it. But know the difference between banter and bullying.

Now That's Funny
