Nice bit of smog over the city...Is it a dodgy place to visit or not too bad?

The smog gradually builds up over the morning. Only had one really clear day all week, so had to go back up the mountain to take a few pictures.

I have to say it is the safest place I have visited so far. Very likely to get ripped off by the taxi drivers, but apart from that, all good. People smile, say hello, and are generally friendly and welcoming in Chile. I bet it's not the same in UK tomorrow morning!

I was lucky enough to do FIDAE 06 with the Tonka display team a couple of years ago and Santiago seems to be a largely commercial city that is very safe, with very nice people and there's plenty to do, eat & drink.

almost guaranteed mate. Still, safe flight and get over to Calne when you get back.... apparently they need a flag boy ! :PDT_Xtremez_14:
