A mate of a mate has a young lad who has just left his missus (they live in married quarter), he was asking if I knew what happened (:PDT_Xtremez_42:)

So here is what I said:

Speak to chief clerk asap but as far as I understand he will get 90 days 'cooling off' period and then he has to make his mind up to either get back with her or change his marital category

he is gonna go in the block tomorrow but wasn't sure of what he would pay ie food and accom

even though he is going to see chief clerk tomorrow, could someone in the know let me know if this is right and any other good gen? lastly, do psf actually get you to sign anything when giving you this 90 day cooling off?

cheers

Just about got it nailed there CM. Initial 90 days 'cooling off' then changes his PCat Stat if he's still in the block. No accom charges whilst paying for SFA but food charges unless you're at a PAYD unit. He doesn't normally sign anything initially but he will go in a register to ensure that the 90 days are adhered to.

Blimey not bad for a Techie :PDT_Xtremez_35:

Mind you I remember much of that info from reading the Goat!

Cheers for confirmation.

PS. When you say initially, does that mean he has to later - perhaps when he changes his cat?

Just remember

Just remember

Monday AM in PSF is the normal time for people to come in with a sheepish request to see the Chf Clk.

I will say now as I said many years ago, you are hoping to get back together aren't you, wink wink, thus it's only a temp status and the RAF will help you get back together by not taking too much money away.

You need to remuster CM;) Yes he'll need to sign if it gets to the stage of changing P Cat Stat.
