We are all familiar (I hope) with the RAF March Past and some of us will be familiar with the RN, RM and various regimental quck marches as well. Now then, The RN march is 'Hearts of Oak', the RM has 'A Life on the Ocean Wave', the Grenadiers have 'The British Grenadier' and all of those have words that can be sung; yet in all my years in and around the RAF I have never heard of any words - official or unofficial - for the RAF March Past.
So my cuious question is "Have there ever been any words for the RAF March Past, and if so what are they?" Maybe some of our Band members or those older in the tooth than me have some idea?

OldstackerFound these on the Wiki webpage.RAF March Past Through adversities we'll conquer. Blaze into the stars, A trail of glory We'll live on land and sea 'Til victory is won. Men in blue the skies are winging In each heart one thought is ringing. Fight for the right, God is our might, We shall be free.

March past

March past

I always thought any march/parade involving the RAF eventually included the theme from Thunderbirds ...............

RAF March Past??

I always associate the Monty Python theme with the RAF.

I 'marched on' to it on my Graduation from OCTU.
