Hello,
I joined the 20th entry of boy entrants 21st October 1953 at RAF Cosford aged 16 as u/t electrical mechanic. The "allegiance" form that you sign still had " I swear allegiance to His Majesty King George VI hastily crossed out and "Queen Elizabeth" hand written in. Hated Cosford, glad to leave, then North Weald, with 111(f) sqdn (black arrows) via North Luffenham, to Wattisham. Tour of Malaya (Malaysia) with 209 squadron(pioneer & twin pioneer), back to Wattisham on stn/flght. time expired 24jan1965
