Anyone know how I can find out when my married quarter was bulit? For insurance purposes. Rand DHE, but it was after 3pm so they were closed, will try again tomorrow unless someone knows another way.
Thanks in advance.

Where do you live, there may be someone who remembers it going up. Grumpyoldb for instance.:PDT_Xtremez_14:

are you doing contents only or full building? normally, for contents only, they never need build date. i have never needed it for the 4 MQ's I have lived in

Just contents, and I have never needed a date either! I am in quarters now, posted next week to another unit, and was just trying to inform my insurance of the address change. The jobsworth on the other end of the phone said they now need an exact build date of my new address or my insurance will be invalid! Even for just contents. Nowt's ever easy is it!

I remember the quarters getting built in 1975 at Leeming when I lived there as a boy. Wimpey homes they were

I don't remember that happening. I do remember them knocking all but 3 or 4 AMQ houses down and Wimpey building new ones in 1986/87 time.
