Sharp Viewcam video's onto pc???

I dug out my old video camera the other day. Its a Sharp Viewcam.
I wondered if its possible to get the videos from the tapes to my computer?
It recorded onto small cassette tapes, like to normal 8's as fitted on GR7's!!
It has a scart type lead which plugs into my TV if that helps.
I know that I will probably need some sort of video editing software (does vista have this feature?) and I'll need some other sort of lead.
I had a look on a few sites for computers and accessories but I dont know what it is I need to look for!

I've seen a gadget with a USB connector that then take input from video and audio and will let you record it onto pc/laptop.
