Is it just me or is the cover of REM's Everybody Hurt's just a little bit pish?? and it's going to be on the radio again and again and again

Don't disagree with why it has been recorded and released, but compared to other charity mass sing-a-longs ie "Just A Perfect Day" and "Do They Know It's Xmas", this comes over as a bit of a dirge.

For what it's worth I would have gone for a cover of "Come Together" with maybe a wee rejig of some of the lyrics.

Just me or does anyone else agree/disagree?
 
Please NO. I hate all this mawkish cr*p.

I doubt that a penny in the pound will reach its intended target. Save your money for H4H.
 
can't be as bad as that fecking sh*te cover of "ice ice baby" I never though it could be possible for a song to be worse second time round
