Might get a day ticket for Iron Maiden, but the rest of the line-up is pretty stable festival fodder (apart from maybe Alice Cooper, who I don't know if his show will transfer well to a festival stage).

I've already got my ticket for next year's Download Festival. If the rumours are to be believed, then that is likely to have AC/DC, Metallica and somebody else as headliners (Pearl Jam and Bon Jovi are rumoured for the third slot).

The good thing is that there are now two rock festivals competing for ticket sales, so hopefully they are going to be making sure that there are great bands at both festivals.

I've just treated myself to a couple of tickets as a reward for my time in the sandpit - really looking forward to seeing Rammstein and Anthrax (a teenage fave)............ also going to the High Voltage Fest in Victoria Park which should be cool.

The line-up for High Voltage looks pretty interesting, might see about getting a ticket for the ZZ Top day of that one, not really interested in seeing ELP though.
