Spare 2.5m?

  • Following weeks of work, the E-GOAT team are delighted to present to you a new look to the forums with plenty of new features. Take a look around and see what you think!
A former RAF base used for secret radar operations during the Second World War is for sale for £2.5million - complete with a three-storey scanning tower.
The now decommissioned RAF Neatishead, near Norwich, Norfolk, consists of 25 acres of land - about the size of 20 football pitches.

Not sure if this place is close to civilisation...if so you could build a little ad of houses on such a plot...

If I had the dosh - I'd buy it tomorrow!

It's not close to civilisation, Vim, it's in Norfolk...

Not sure if that land is worth the 2.5m asking fee - it would need thousands spent on it for bulldozing etc just to make it usable! But 25 arcres isn't bad for 2.5mil - about the cost of the 3 bed semi in London... Could build a small villageon that site - houses, shops, school, doctor surgery / hospital etc - which would make it worth billions!
