On Monday I will be celebrating St Georges Day. A bit of digging shows that the dress regs say "The national flower or emblem on St George’s, St Andrew’s, St David’s and St Patrick’s Day, according to nationality." Now I reckon that a red rose may look a little like going to a wedding. The word emblem intrigues me as it implies that I can wear a St Georges flag instead. Can any of you uniform pedants help?

Can't argue with that, it says emblem, the only 2 emblems i'm aware of for you English are the red rose and that ra, sorry, The Cross Of St George.
