I think this may be the right forum to address this question - if not could the mods please move to where they fell it may be appropriate.

Question;
Is it laid down any where in a publication what the expected lenght of a working week (i.e. hours required) that a sevcieman in the Air Force is required/expected to do?.
I appreciate that rules under 'operations' throw this out of the window but any pointers or help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance

There is no standard working week but manning establishments are based on the 'airman's working week' which (stand to be corrected) is a smidge over 37 hrs. The fact that the majority work well in excess of this is apparently irrelevant.:PDT_Xtremez_09:

I can see that link being picked to bits!

7 days gaurding allowance a year wont sit well with skevans

I can't even see the link but I'm wound up already!

I will check the link out tomorrow when, suprise suprise, I'm on fecking guard again!

If I dont have enough time tommorow or Saturday I could always do it when I'm on nights in the guardroom next week!

Looks like I had better find some blood pressure tablets:PDT_Xtremez_25:

Being on a small section, employing a lot of civives, prehaps is the reason why??? Or are you popular with your boss...

Off Topic Am located in S. Wales with a shrinking blue suit populus , (of which there are the normal sickies) but having to maintain the same guard commitment.
Its not just a quick turn around for my section but the whole station:PDT_Xtremez_34:

Is now a good time to say I havent done guard for 2 years?:PDT_Xtremez_28:
