With the sacking of Mr Bruce who do you think will be in the running to take the job?

They should follow Steve Bruce with Bobo The Clown as his replacement...or maybe Mark Hughes?

Seriously how lucky is Agent Bruce?

He gets sacked on the last day of November, however on the first day of December all the department stores need to employ a fat tw@t who doesn't have any aversion to wearing red and white :PDT_Xtremez_14:

Some people just seem to land on their feet all the time!

Weebles Wobble but they dont fall down!

Seriously though, as a fan I am sorry he's been sacked, but losing Bent & Gyan without bringing in quality replacements is a recipe for disaster and one that I thought we'd learned from in 2003/4 when we'd lost Quinn & Phillips and replaced them with the likes of Anthony Le Tallec and Andy Gray!

Hopefully Sgt Wilko wont be our next manager again - I've got a sneaky feeling it will be Sparky Hughes.

If it is Hughes, I think he'll take a while to settle in but would do well at the club.

I would rather have Hughes than O'neill, but as long as they sort out the striker situation!

If its Hughes thats a guarenteed draw on the coupon every week.
Never known a bloke have so many 1-1 draws.

if you have a spare fiver stick it on O'neill for the job.
Hmmm, I'm interested, do you have inside information or is this just your gut feeling? There was a TG17 lad who got the nod that Souness was going to the Newcastle job years ago, odds were something like 40/1. Bloke made a frickin killing....can't remember his name for the life of me though.

I fancy Hughes for the job but I wouldn't rule out old Sven. Didn't do that bad with City, 9th, beat Utd home and away but he did sign some complete crap. Rolando Bianchi anyone?????

I believe I know who you mean (he has been out of the mob for quite a while now) surname of Robson (Tall guy) originally came from one of the villages in-between Prudhoe & Blaydon.

Seemed to have his finger on the pulse when it came the to the Toon.
