Going to see SLF this week in Dundee. These guys are one of the great original punk bands and are still going strong and selling out gigs after 30 years.:PDT_Xtremez_28:

What a great band, went to see then in 2001 in Belfast when they had Bruce Foxton on bass and the place Rocked!!

I've seen them 4 times and they are still great.

Not seen them in the last year with Ali McMordie back on bass though.

Spent many years of my youth tryingto see the fingers and finally caught up with them in Newcastle in 1994, where Jake now lives, and have seen them about 5 times since.
Jake was also in three me and Black, a quartet of artists like Pauline Black, hence the name, and members of the Beat and the Jam doing aqoustics of there singles and their meanings.

Glad to see so many Fingers fans about, they are touring now.Hanx

They are pretty much permenantly touring now. They still play all the old songs each night - Jake Burns always says that there will always be someone in the audience who hasn't seen them before and they deserve to hear them.

Their best record was easily "Hanx" (recorded live in Aylesbury) - It changed my life when I first heard it. It is one the best live records you'll hear.

My oldest son is named Jake in honour.

Have to agree,Hanx is a great live recording. My fave song is Gota Getaway must be played loud

Saw them way back in my youth for the first time in 1981 at the kings hall in Derby. Fantastic gig and remain one of my favourite bands of all time.

Brilliant gig on friday night, they look old and put some weight on but still fantastic live, same power and noise as ever. They get better with age
