I,m sorry not been in the real world of Supply for many a year, too busy filling sandbags, no time for tea breaks etc. However, with all this leaning stuff is there any bother. Job i,ve hated since LAC and believe me you could not cheat then either. Painting floors was another crap job but I guess that has all gone by now.

Why am I not surprised Norman! Stocktaking is a key factor in our job I know its boring tedious and a right pain in the a**e but since the trade lost many of its key skills base how else do we discover problems?
I used to be of the same mentality- a complete waste of time etc etc but having seen some of the howlers stocktaking (correctly undertaken and completed) has identified recently it is a must. In particular as the 'snap check' system has become a lottery, normally only completed when a QA is coming along!!!.DT_Xtremez_42:
