All the pundits said they were going down.

PaddyPower payed out on their relegation after ONE game.

One trick ponies with Delap's throw ins.

42 points............... Premiership safety.

See Man Utd, Liverpool et al next season.

PROUD TO BE A POTTER.

:S

Hopefully you'll see Sunderland (and Hull!) next season too.

But not the dirty mags or the smog monsters.

The Lads have done us proud and to listen to the match of the day pundits last night was pure class i would have loved to compare that with what they said at the start of the season.

I am still waiting for Garth Crooks to start waxing lyrical about his time with Stoke.

Feckin well done to the lads they have fought for everything all season and lets face it if liverpool had beaten us at Anfield and at the Britannia then the league table would look very different.

Proud to be a Potter

........and lets face it if liverpool had beaten us at Anfield and at the Britannia then the league table would look very different.

Quite right it pains me to say. The prem is usually won by the team that tops the mini-league of the top 4 teams, and we've p1ssed that this season. Unfortunately we failed to show enough guile and nouse to dispatch the teams that have defended stubbornly (as is their right) against us earlier in the season, and the succession of draws that resulted will prove to be the clincher for Slur Alexsh's lot.
But this is a thread about Stoke not LFC, so congrats to the potters at surviving a season in the prem and good luck for next, although I for one won't look forward to visiting that isolated, windswept hilltop eerie of a stadium you have there :PDT_Xtremez_14:

Well done,
ps Jimmy Greenhoff was a class act for United back in my day and one of the best signings we made from Stoke!

As a Clarets fan, i'm chuffed to feck that Stoke stayed up this season. You've provided hope to all the championship sides that aim to be where you are. Now if only we can play well two more times..................... :PDT_Xtremez_42:

Congratulations to Stoke for staying up despite what the "expert" pundits said before a ball was kicked. Even the Vale fan who lives next door has grudgingly said they have done well.
