It has been decided to knock down the SADAC here at MOD Stafford. to some people that means nothing but to some old suppliers it could be the end of the nightmares.

Once labelled as the biggest distribution building in europe with its 3 floors of storage and loading decks it became home to many a supplier.

It is been demolishedfrom the 10th Jan and will take 24 weeks.

I bet there is some good old stories from this great building.
 
It will be interesting to see how many vouchers they found rammed down the sewage system - a well known technique in the early 1990's!

Off TopicCan't see why they would demolish it now, they will need the space when DSDC North (Stafford) is required as DULMEN draws down? As we go round this circle yet again!!!

Why can't they just blow it up. Have a lottery and the winner gets to press the button. Won't be losing any sleep over that place being torn down especially CRF
 
Robby, you are of course relying on them not having lost everything at Dulmen in order to return it to UK.

Yeah, however!

There was also a Ditch barn full of stuff that had been returned where the F731 was wrong, gash techies unable to fill out a form!!
 
It matters not if the F731 was right or wrong if you sent it to the 'Ditch' Barn ya knobber!
You'd think you know what was there, especially if you worked in it eh?

I was once had to work on a box 2m3 full of c stores with all the vouchers on top of the box. Unit returns don't bother attaching the vouchers on the items 1000s of c stores took me a fortnight to sort out. Should have returned them to the unit they came from but our flugel said get on with it, that's what we were there for

funny world as doony does that to us now we once had 17 multi boxes come through to a secret oxon airbase
