hello
Does anyone on here have any info on what Supply courses I could do.
As you may know Im an FTRS Cpl Supplier on an Auggie RAF Reg Sqn. Ive been in that job since May this year.

I was a regular Supplier from 91-97 and so did Basic Supply and SC course then.
Are there any short Supply courses, or SC courses available now?

I would like to go on a course to brush up on current procedures and help me in my job.

Ill contact Supply and Movements Training Wing at Halton, but it would be nice to have some idea whats available before I speak to them.

many thanks

There are still SC courses being run if you want a refresher of basic supply, some things have changed with MJDI replacing USAS for example.

Dangerous goods, Explosives, radiation courses may be handy for you too. Then their is VITAL (consignment tracking) also numerous POL/Environmental courses.

Would be an idea to see your local supply sqn, as they usually have a training cell and can book courses for you etc.

when suppliers pass out now they get a NVQ lvl2 in Warehouse and Distribution Operations. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to do that or even go further to lvl3. Something I should really look at.

There is a website, which any member of the forces can do for free. I will find it out for you, it covers from computers to your ECDL and anyone can do them!!!

thanks for the advice.
I'll go over and see the FS in SCAF next time Im in(Im in the field for the next week, thats if the training area isnt 30 feet under water with all this rain).
Ive just rung SPOC and registered for the DLP.

I'd like to attend a course or two, Im not a massive fan of doing NVQs by yourself at work.
