Is anyone aware of whether or not there is likely to be a function to mark the end of TCW at Brize Norton? If so, will it be open to past members who have fond memories of their times there?
 
I asked the same question to a couple of bods still on the wing and it would appear that the answer is no as the move is being spread out over such a protracted period (6 months-ish) that it wouldn't be practical.
 
i don't think anyting will happen because ever fudger is pvr-ing or posted or on det and they h8 cartoontown and want to see it burnt to the ground along with the "men" who attack drunken singlies on there way home! How big they must feel after that...................

Well now, for old farts like me long in the dotage....there was no "do" when TCW left Tangmere and there was no "do" when we left Benson, apart from, of course, the inevitable Officers Mess dinner! But we did have a big party on arrival so that all knew who we were! We ex members have had our day, tis for the young uns who run it now to enjoy ( Stand aside old man, your powers are weak)!
