Anyone here an engineer of someform at Leuchars?
Am on summer camp there this year, and was wondering if anyone could suggest whether it would be worth considering a visit the Eng dept.

Suggest you go to one of the Fg sqns, that will give you an idea what it's all about in the real RAF.

Dont bother with the engine bay, they're all playing ping pong or fixing cars. Amf is good if you want to see planes ripped to sh#t and and learn about the in depth technical side of the RAF world. But the sqn,s is what we're all about, you've got three to choose from, pick wisely.

If u want to see a hard working Sqn then try to go to see "****ty Fix" sorry 56(r) the Tornado F3 OCU (Operational Conversion Unit) thats where baby pilots try to learn to fly the Tornado, and all the Lineys work there Ntus off
