Wonder if anyone here can help;
I have a friend who has a successful electrical/electronics company in Cornwall. He's supplying many other companies with everything electrical and electronic and is trying to find out who supplies the RAF, and who does the ordering of such things for us.
Any help would be much appreciated.

He gets parts from many companies, but a Chinese manufacturer in the main. They've got all the necessary ISO's and certificates for the EU and are around 30 to 40% cheaper than other competitors. It's got to be worth a shot as a supplier?

Stick in a GEMS form. List what the items are and price compare to known items in use. The system (IPT) will then check the spec of the items to make sure it's comparable/better and you'd get 20 quid for your suggestion. If it gets taken up then you could be in line for (a lot) more.

Nice suggestion Roobsta. He's given me loads of literature with thousands of items in it. Everything from cable looms, RCD's, to tailor made control panels of just about any size. Suppose I could put in a general GEMS suggestion though?

Stick in the GEMS with the paperwork as supporting documents. Eng Wing WO should be able to help you. Good luck. My cut is 20% :-)
