Is anyone else irritated by the female commentator on Match of the Day? Rather than getting excited at chances or goals she squeals with delight at the most inappropriate moments such as goal kicks or offside decisions.

Can we do something to remove her from commentating?

All footballers, fans, commentators, oh sod it anybody who has ANYTHING to do with football, must be shot.............post haste::P:
 
Have to admit it was a bit strange hearing a bird describe what was going on, she kept getting all excited when anyone was anywhere near the box (pun intended) all those blokes running around in shorts she nust have been in heaven







And the way she works those cliches seamlessly into the whole ordeal.
She sounds like she's reading a script generated by Microsoft Motson v4.0

must admit, it done my nut in, i ended up just turning down the volume..why are members of this 'species' tring to get into our game...?

mabye, if they must have a female commentator, they could try and not have one as posh as the queen....

The Footy lass does sound a bit weird, sounds like its recorded after the match and spouts off far too many stats at inappropriate moments.

However the BBC MOTO GP (today doing the Jerrez GP) Girl, Suzie Something or other (Also on the Gadget Show [C5 tomorrow night]) doesn't talk during the race but provides a nice bit of eye candy for the bits before and after.

On a more general note, have you noticed that some wazzock always goes and talks to the winner /british looser and asked how they felt? How would YOU feel having raced, tennissed or something for hours - Knackered. It's a stupid question by stupid interviewers with nothing better to do, even if they ARE eye candy.
 
Along with driving, DIY and fixing anything technical there are some things a woman should NOT be allowed to do.

If they stuck to fluffy kittens and cross-stitch, the world would be a lot better place :PDT_Xtremez_42:
 
Think she did the Brum vs City match on sat nights motd. I don't care if there is a female commentator, as long as they are actually good at commentating and knows what she is talking about. Unfortunately, she doesn't and it really did my head in!!! Turned the volume down in the end!

If she'd have shut up and they'd have put her picture over the footage of Brum vs Man City then it would have been a decent set of highlights to watch
