Hi there,
I hope I have posted this in the correct section.
My name is Danny, I am 18, and basically I am very concerned about the likely hood of my application to be unsuccessful.
In 2009 i applied to join the REME however failed on medical grounds, (the reason being, I had been seen by a doctor within 4 years for wheezing symptoms).
I received a letter from the military doctor informing me that I could re apply in 2011. This was upsetting but there was nothing I could have done but accept it.
After having lots of time to think, I have decided REME is not going to be for me and I have now decided I would like to join the “snowdrops”, the RAF Police force.
I will not apply until 2011, (after the 4 year threshold), but I am just wandering if, even after not having symptoms for over 4 years, my application maybe still declined?
At the moment it is playing on my mind most of the time. I am sick of my 9-5 and cannot wait to my application process rolling.
I hope someone can shed light and give me peace of mind.
Thanks, Danny.
