It looks like there will be a new Stig when Top Gear comes back.

The Stig A.K.A Ben Collins let it slip in an art shop of all places.

But for the eagle eyed amongst us already know that, because his real name was in the HSE report when Richard Hammond crashed the jet powered car.

I think the rule used to be once he was known he was out i.e fired from an aircraft carrier thats what happened to Perry McCarthy who was Stig 1 in the UK
There have been a number of stigs used when on the trip abroads most notably the winter olympics episode wher there was rumered to be two or three guys as they were champions in their field

IIRC Ben Collins first featured driving a convertible with James May as his mate attemted to parachute into it

Just after that the Pery McCarthystory came out and as he was their already....

If there's a new Stig to be brought about I wonder if they bring in that German lass, can't remember her name. The one who did the transit van run with Hamster as passenger.

Doubt it though as I wouldn't think they'd be able to keep her quiet during each drive.

Sabine Schmidt? she already presents German Top Gear plus has a racing carear aswell
I heard that alot of the top car makers send their own test drivers along and they don the white suit for the timed lap

They will always find another Stig
