American actress Kelly McGillis, famous for playing the big screen love interest of Hollywood hearthrobs Tom Cruise and Harrison Ford, has come out as a lesbian.
McGillis, who is known for her performances in Top Gun, Witness and The Accused, told website shewire that she was single and definitely looking for a woman.

It puts to rest long-standing rumours about her personal life.
McGillis, 51, has wed twice and has two daughters from her second marriage to Fred Tillman.
Speaking to shewire's Girl Rock video blog, McGillis said she was now looking for a woman in her life.
She added: "I'm done with the man thing. I'm done with that and need to move on in life."
