how long did you do in the trade and when did you leave and what rank where you, just intrested thats all. with regards to the trade sponsor, there where three men at the helm, have heard that they have disestablished two of the posts leaving one WO, who I beleive is ex tg3, I do know for a fact that they only have 12 people walk through the door of CIO that have signed up for the new tg4, so they are definetly looking to recruit in our trade as a matter of priority, hope this all helps.
when did you join aswell? what tco basic course where you?DT_Xtremez_28:

WO K* W* is a peanut, his post is one of the ones disestablished, the other WO is tg3 side of the house

Dis-established or disciplined (sacked?) For making a boo boo and ruining hundreds of careers spending so much money on egg sucking courses.
If the TG3 guy stays he needs to learn to speak up.
Covered elsewhere.I think TG4 is only about 90% manned at the moment, I suppose thats one of the reasons TG4 PVR waiting times have just gone from 6 to 12 months!

Only CIS TECHS have 12 months due in part to no more promotion...
Sorry to jump in your forum but as they say...." we are all the same trade now!!"

I can't believe one person is responsible for the TG4 problems that seem to be appearing all over the place. He cannot surely be that powerful. I have heard a few things here and there but do not feel informed enough to make comments about one individual. Anyway, he hasn't met me yet
Even if there is a 60% failure rate on the sprogs at Cosford on the basic TG4, and even if there are a lot of the TG11 oldies doing body-swerves to escape the 3-week assimilation course, that is not an individual's fault.
Clearly TG4 is difficult. The army were toying with it but it won't work. Their Comms / tech roles are too different to amalgamate, and anyway their career paths (Yeoman and Foreman) are much more identifiable and miles apart.
There is still a role for TG11, albeit away from the commcens etc, into IT, Comms etc. I know a lot of people are finding the amalgamation difficult but I dont know the answers.
