Looks like Man Utd have started early in getting a new midfielder - Owen Hargreaves, for 'around £17M'. That is what Franz Beckenbauer, Bayern Munich president, is claiming.

The badge is a bit iffy.

Plenty to talk about on FMTTM.com. you not a member, Not a lot of fans going for the new bage, I bet Boro Taxis are more than impressed with the change.

I think the usual will happen, keeping shtum until all is signed and sealed, or them Barcodes will be in on it as usual

What we do need is:

A Right Back - Luke Young?
A Right Midfielder - Still linked with Gera (see how the Baggies do in the play-off final) - Geremi
A Playmaker - Barton (without the baggage)
A Striker or maybe 2 - Bouazza from Watford always seems busy, Aliadiere, Healey (Leeds).

Goalies - enough cover - Skippy, Jones and Turnbull.
Left Back - Taylor did well - Mad Dog can always cover
Centre Back - Woody & Huuuuuuth, Mad Dog & Riggott (if we are stuck) as well as Bates, Davies, Wheater
Left Midfield - Downing & Johnson
Centre Midfield - The Boat (although he's losing his effectiveness) Arca & The Catt. Rochemback is now wanting to stay, apparently.
Striker - Hopefully The Duke. Not sure if The Yak is on his way and the jury is still out on Dong Gook.

Must get these off the pay roll:

Euell
Mendieta

Christie, Xavier, Parnaby are all going or already gone.

Lot of young kids there. Rocky has now given up going and is playing well.
The Boat is getting passed it now, he never knows when to lie down.
The Gookster will come good, bit like Macarone, falling down to easy but will learn to stand up.
The Duke has a lot to think about pity loyalty means nothing nowadays, money talks, as long as he doesn't move North.
The Huth looks a liability buy and as for Euell that was a panic buy, once again leaving it too late in the market, I just hope something is going on in the backroom
