With the end of the season all but here and Euro 2008 to come it's time to start the rumour mill about who's moving to where. Heard something from a that bloke in the pub who knows everything, got an inside man at your club. Let the speculation commence:PDT_Xtremez_30:

For starters -
Santa Cruz moving from Blackburn to Arsenal
Lampard going to Spain for 8 Million
Ronaldo going to Spain for 100 Million
Accrington Stanley release 11 players from the squad.

:PDT_Xtremez_28: One of the above is true :PDT_Xtremez_28:

It's true you know

It's true you know

Tough luck Chelski and Mancs, he wants to play in the Intertoto

Well, with the Euros now finished, the transfer market will kick into overdrive.

As far as LFC are concerned, Gareth Barry appears to be doing his best to burn his bridges with Villa and has now been discplined and won't be in for pre-season training tomorrow. LFC have refuted a rumour that an improved offer of 15 mill plus extras for Barry has been made to Villa; thank heavens if we pay THAT much for him....
Villa have now gone off the idea of Scott Carson following a 5 mill deal for Paul Robinson <snigger, more fool them> and LFC have suddenly been linked with, of all people, Robbie Keane :PDT_Xtremez_42:

Well stone me, Rafa's only gone and signed him for £18 mill on a four year deal.:PDT_Xtremez_35:
Gareth Barry is still making 'I want out of Villa' noises and O'Neill is still valuing him at £18 mill. Barry will leave Villa but its unlikely to be for that asking price wherever and whenever he goes (unless Chelsea suddenly take an interest and throw some of Abramovich's loose pocket change in their direction); but if I were him I'd want to wring MON's neck.

The merry go round grinds on as Carson goes to the baggies and Robinson ignores Villa and moves to Blackburn who sell Freidel to Villa. But it's all bit quiet in the premier league transfer stakes for now except for Sunderland who have released lots of players and signed about 4 people so far, only 1 of which (Chimbonda) I have heard of. Could be a long hard slog for the black cats once again.

I heard that Man City had put in an offer of £2.5M for the bloke who oils the hinges on the empty seats at Wigan.

The mighty Accrington Stanley have made a move in the transfer market signing Jamie Stanley on loan from Blackburn.

Apologies to SUnderland supporters I forgot to include the spitting senegalese El hadj Djouf who will no doubt bring that bit of class to the squad.

You won't be crowing much when Roy Kean buys Benni McCarthey of you and we finish above you in the league. As for El-Hadji Diouf - he could be the bargain buy of the season. Watch out PSBM, he could come back to haunt you next weekend at the SOL. My tip for our best buy though is Teemu Taino, Spurs were mad to sell him.

Capt given McCarthey's attitude for the last few games when he realised that the only way he was getting into europe was on holiday coupled with his late season "injuries" means we could manage quite well without him. Losing Bentley is a bigger problem than possibly losing McCarthey. Up front we should be okay with a kn@ckerd old property magnate scouser and Santa Cruz's younger brother now on the books. Hope you stay in the league mate but finishing above us:PDT_Xtremez_31:. How about the usual wager then Capt a decent bottle of red v 4 tins of tetleys for highest league position??

Heard that Newcastle have put a bid in for O J Simpson's lawyer, apparently he can mount a good defence...

Your on, after last year's silly wager I think this is a safer bet. A few more signings (centre half, full back and a striker) and I think we will have a decent enough squad for to break into the top ten.

Top tip for the first manager to be sacked and/or walk out: KKK - Kevin "Klueless" Keegen!

Lol you mackems make me laugh, you're always nearly as bullish about your chances as the bindippers every pre-season.

How the hell does buying half of the Spurs team not deamed good enough to play during their last dismal campaign suddenly turn Blunderland into a team of world beaters?

I take it then you did not see the article in one of the Sunday's papers written by an ex-Bar Code manager (who looks remarkably like your avatar) who reckons we are a good bet to finish at least 10th this season - above Keegan's deadbeats!

Well i personally would love it if those whinging geordies get relegated. 'ooh we are so well supportted, I dont wear a t-shirt and have NUFC tattooed on my fat gut, so that mean we should by diffault win everything'. Sod off to the championship and you might.

On Topic Are liverpool ever going to sign gareth barry?

At the moment that looks highly unlikely as a statement was released at the weekend stating that, in the opinion of the LFC board, the valuation placed on Barry by Villa is too high.
The whole situation has been bizarre to say the least.

Wouldn't be bitter about his sacking then by any chance?

So Liverpool are trying to but Barry from Villa.
I thought they were after Villa from Valencia.
Maybe I mean someone from Sevilla.
