Off to the smoke tommorow to watch some pre-season fussball...staying at the union jack club...

Can anybody recommend any good battle cruisers in the vicinity of the UJ? I am already planning to be robbed blind on prices...which will be similar to my last visit to London when I got done over in a brothel...

Over to the floor....

The fire station opposite is quite nice but expensive, depends where you are going in london and depends what you like, if you are into music, all the boozers around Camden are pretty cool and cheaper prices. A bit 'studenty'

You cant go wrong with the tourist trap 'punch and judy' in covent garden-but it is expensive. Nags head in same area is good for a laugh.

For food get into So-ho, the restaurants are great and (as long as you dont go in the 'celeb' select) relatively cheap.
ave a good un..

Sarf o' the river. There be Demons.

Camden and Islington are both rich with good evening watering holes.

Concur...Get over the river...all the places mentioned so far are OK...On a warm day/evening Putney both on the waterfront and just a little bit back into the town has some fine pubs to keep you entertained as you watch turds float past on Old Father Thames...
