Redundancies are announced on Tuesday. Give it a few days for Manning to analyse the results and work out the demographics of whose left and send their requirements to the AFCOs.

AFCOs don't generally know when the vacancies are coming up to stop them having an advantage over other AFCOs.
You'll find out at the same time as them, top tip would be that the RAF tend to do things in quarterly batches so you may be able to tell when the next set of vacancies will be coming up.
If you're wanting to be a trade that only had one or two entries a year then it's a bit harder to guess.
There are other methods of second guessing, such as looking at training schools plans but these change so cannot be relied upon too much.

RAFP is pretty overmanned at the moment but still need to continue to recruit in small numbers. ITT's for this year is 25 and I heard today that they were struggling to find that number; don't know how true that is but get yourself along to the AFCO and find out!
