Hello to all
I was invited to visit by a member of your 'esteemed' forum.
Ex 'ahem' Senior Service' by a goodly number of years, but I dare say that will not stop any friendly banter being thrown my way
We dont run a web site, we just found it being run by two other groups, joined in, renamed it while they weren't looking. Then claimed it was ours and we were doing better.................well it worked with the aircraft.reaper, FFA got no airpower anymore DT_Xtremez_09:Vim, never went looking for it, although I did try to convince some female visitors to search for it with me a time or two, alas with only minimal successRugby, well I had to take up your invite to see how the junior service ran a web site. I was refering to the fact that they have aircraft at all.
If it flies, it should be owned and operated by the RAF.
If it floats, it should be owned and operated by the RN
If it has tracks n a Big gun, it should be owned and operated by the Army
There should be absolutly no blurring of the lines, the navy and the army have no business operating aircraft and despite whatever excuses they come up with it is simply to undermine the airforce as an independant service. Waste of resources and man power. The FAA and AAC should be no more than mere squadrons of the RAF, flown by raf pilots!
And then service is Mon-Fri 0900-1700.
Mikh welcome and enjoy the goat I thought the naval air wing was formed in 1937 so is that not some 19 years junior to the Air Farcereaper, FFA got no airpower anymore DT_Xtremez_09:Vim, never went looking for it, although I did try to convince some female visitors to search for it with me a time or two, alas with only minimal successRugby, well I had to take up your invite to see how the junior service ran a web site. Ahh, but the Royal Naval Air Service was formed prior to 1918 (in 1914) so was a precursor to the RAF... they even had an Armoured Car division before the Army.Mikh welcome and enjoy the goat I thought the naval air wing was formed in 1937 so is that not some 19 years junior to the Air Farce
No it wouldn't be.
Now I have been told there is nothing more frightening than a matelot with a gun, but I am sure you know better
Make and mends, a thing I miss sooo much.
Teh Wal, no worries, it would be a poor site wothout differing opinions.
Reaper, the problem with RAF squadrons on one of Her Majesties Sleek Grey Messengers of Death would mean they might get other duties that did not include looking after their toys, be it whirly whirly things on Figates/Destroyers of noisy fast things on the carriers (if and when we get them).
