Voluntary work?

Hi,

My son's been advised to get stuck into some voluntary work ahead of his intereview for RAF regiment officer in a few months. If any recruiters are able to advise about the best types of voluntary work to go for given the short-ish time period before interview it'd help a lot. Does it have to involve specific things ideally or is one type of voluntary work as good as any other? hH's been given the impression by others that it should involve leadership, helping kids and generally curing the incurable.

Any tips most welcome.

Best.

Charity work is always good, working with youth organisations is equally positive. What he needs to consider is that rather than just ticking the box and attending such work, he would be best advised to get involved with the organisation of any projects taking place or finding some role of responsibility/leadership as those are the qualities that are important to us.
