Is it just me? I have not heard anything for a while that floats my boat. So I'm open to suggestions. My ipod has a few Gb left and I'd like to add to my collection from my fave mp3 (fully legal) download site.

Last downloads:

Elbow, ting tings, seasick steve, toots & the maytals.

Over to yous....

Can I suggest that you detail the whole of your music collection on your Ipod to avoid the scenario where somebody suggests a group and you come back Already got them on there.

From that list, you need some Vangelis to chill out to phat bro...:PDT_Xtremez_42:

You should definitely get the Pigeon Detectives on your pod. And although they have been around a bit, British Sea Power are fantastic through the old ear phones.

Kin ell. I don't think wobbly would be impressed.

Many and various. Rap, rock, reggae, dance, d & b, indie, blues the list is endless. 2/3 of an 80g ipod full of stuff.

Just looking for some ideas. Tinawaren for instance is an african band but its great!

Depends on what mood i'm in:

Evanesence, Lacuna Coil, Spawn Soundtrack, Jeff Waynes War of the Worlds, Slipknot, Stone Sour, The Crow Soundtrack.

Personally i'll listent to anything from Enya to Slipknot/Cradel of Filth etc.

Then again Damian Marley - Welcome to Jamrock is a good album, listen to Road to Zion with NAS, he sounds so much like his dad.

I got Kid Rock's new album today, Rock N Roll Jesus, it's not my normal my cup of tea, but 'All Summer Long', is a good tune (although it is a Lynyrd Skynyrd rip off), the other songs are ok, but I do like to listen to an album a few times before I finally make my mind up.

I could listen to this one whilst riding my hog along the coast road. If it ever stops raining!!Off Topic

I'm you tubin these suggestions and I'm liking some of em.

Some of The Who, perhaps, or Crosby Stills & Nash ?
Metalica, ACDC, Whitesnake ?

For me it would be Beethoven's complete 9th, but I appreciate that it's not everyones cup of tea.

Interesting.... I recently got a woodstock sound track which then prompted listening to Santana - Soul Sacrifice & Fried Neckbones amonst others.

If I had a time machine I would have loved Woodstock '69. A dialysis machine would probably be handy too.

Lacuna Coil - Enjoy the Silence

Lacuna Coil - heaven is a Lie

Nightwish - Nemo

Nightwish had a singer called tarja and her voice is stunning.

Off Topic Excellent cover of enjoy the silence. In fact every cover i have heard is ace, i think its iimpossible to make it sound bad, such a good song.

anyway back on topic, if your in a fast guitar lots of solos type mood may i suggest Dragon Force how the guitars dont burst into flames i'll never know.

if in a metal/emo mood Story of the Year's album 'page avenue' is simply brilliant, last 2 albums altho good and heavyer dont measure up to it.

also cant beat a bit of lostprophets and offspring:PDT_Xtremez_30:

In the car, Funeral for a friend.

In the office, two whinging gits that went cycling last night after work !! :PDT_Xtremez_31::PDT_Xtremez_29:

I am liking most of the suggestions so far but as BigFella is not a hormonal teenager I think he should stick off the EMO!

Seasick Steve is a legend but I see you have already have that one covered - Hit some Johnny Cash, the last albums produced by Rick Ruben are awesome, particualrly his cover of Nine Inch Nails' Hurt - listen to this in the right mood and you may find you have a bit of grit stuck in your eye!

For the good times - Neil Diamond - Hot August Night Live, I dare you not to be tapping your toes to Brother Love's Travelling Salvation Show!
