Couldn't find if this has already been answered (sorry if it has). What sort of personal stuff are you allowed to take with you to Cranwell? I'm sure I read somewhere you can take your mobile but what about, for example, an ipod or a laptop? Would have thought a laptop would be useful for the academic bits.

May not be the same for cranwell, but the Honington kit list (for RAF Reg) specifically says that laptops aren't permitted, along with portable TVs, stereos, PSP, etc. It also says you can take a personal stereo or iPod though.
