oo there is too much to put on.

As bengo mention nevermind at full tilt will solve all the worlds problems, along with rage against the machines 1st album.

For soothing the mind maximo park always brings me to a happy chilled out mood.

But for the ultimate relax it has to be jefferson airplanes white rabbit, there is something about that bass line, guitar intro and vocals that take you away to a place where there are no troubles. :PDT_Xtremez_28:

Anything by AC/DC. It never fails and it sounds great loud :PDT_Xtremez_14:
Disturbed hits the mark too, especially the first album ! :PDT_Xtremez_28:

You got it spot on.......Hells Bells by AC/DC and the guitar solo in the middle of Let There Be Rock.......probably one of Angus youngs most outstanding moments.

The louder the better.

Well for chill out it would have to be Fleedwood Mac - Albatross as a favourite, or some random low tempo blues/jazz.

Full tilt though is delving into the realms of Metal or Drum and bass. Anything with a frantic beat! I draw the line at Jungle. That stuff is usually pap

The lads told me they have known you to be found in your wan*ing chariot with a glass of lambrini listening to nancy sinatra and doris day

After a good dose of "The Royal Air Force Marchpast" 12" dance remix I then find a quick spell of 633 Sqn feat. The Band of the Royal Air Force or a quick shot of the radio edit of The dambusters theme. Helps remind me to go and shout at the erks for having no tradition. :PDT_Xtremez_31:

Got to be "Bat Out Of Hell" by the one and only Mr Loaf for me.It has to be LOUDDDDDDDDD though...
This has surely shown the test of time!:PDT_Xtremez_28:

If I'm in a maudling mood Talk Talk's 'Its my Life' is a good number to belt out, but perhaps a bit too full of teenage angst for mant tastes.

I had a music war with the flat downstairs last week, that was fun. They made me listen to Last Christmas by Wham, so I gave them Linkin Park's new album and Nickelback on full volume. I have louder and harder rock music but it seemed to shut them up.

I have music for every mood so quite a selection to go through when choosing :PDT_Xtremez_31:

I did this a few years ago when the next-door neighbours moved their bedroom furniture so their bed head was against the party wall.

I can confirm that the Massed Pipes and Drums of the Highland Division are one of the best contraceptives known to man, as they tend to distract from the "task at hand" as well as destroying all sense of rhythm.

I daren't ask my son what sort of mood he is in lately all he plays is Iron Maiden(thanks mate!) as loud as possible and as late as he dare get away with!!

For sheer volume overload it has to be Manic Street Preachers, Muse or Radiohead (Thom Yorke's never disappeared up his own @rse, Hogwarts BEngO - do you have to believe all you read?)

If you want a bit of marching/military music to get the old chest swelling, you can't beat the Red Army band and choir for that - try listening to Polyushko Polye, Svyashchennaya Voina (The Sacred War) or even better V Put' (On The Road) - effing stirring stuff. For emotional stuff, the Volga Boatmen's song (Ey Ukhnem) will get you sniffling in no time...
