Back in 1999 we decided it would be a laugh to ask everyone visiting the section for a 'RAFANISM' before helping them out, really confused the civvies, but there you go.

I then spent quite a bit of time typing it up and amending it much to the Wobblies disgust. I then named it the 'RAFANASAURUS - The definitive guide to RAF Speak' and it made it's public debut in the section bar, it doubled in content that night.

I am flattered to see it posted, after all it is public property, but I would like to know who posted it. Do I know you?

Its a bloody good anyway. Something I beleive that should be handed to all the Kiddy Winkies on their first day at Halton and Cranwell.

Any chance of another updated version with all the new additions?

There's also (I am reliably informed) a copy in the Shawbury CATCS Instructors Crewroom...where a couple of worthy additions have been added! I too would love a link to the original/updated version.

Zip turn and burn........ come in drop off munition and get out
Dangling its dunlops over the piano keys.......... dangling its wheels over the approach markings on runway

the sengo is throwing a wobbly at the jengo cos the kite is on sticks in the haz... the senior eng off is getting annoyed with the junior eng off because the aircraft is on jacks in the haz
