Dear all, I'me here cos my lad is in the RAF but, putting my cards on the table, I'm ex-TA (however, I have a copy of 'The Dambusters' and a CD of the Central band), so.... why 'E-Goat'? 'ARSSE' for the army rumour service makes sense but 'E-goat'? I know certain regiments in the army have goat mascots but why the name for the RAF rumour control?cup of corrrfeee

Some of us,who have spent 3 years sharing a room with 17 other guys(im not one of them) have developed a thing for goats especially when they are wearing coats.!!:raf:

many thanks for the replies....another example of the armed forces of the Crown using the zoological to explain the vagaries of life e.g. he made a right cods of that one or the dogs dangly bits etc,

Welcome and enjoy........one word of warning, I wouldn't mention "dogs dangly bits" too loud as there's a certain trade that love dogs, way too much !!
