WSO Trade To Open?.....

Hi guys, just wondering if some of the established hands in here have any idea when the WSO trade will be opening? When I last visited my AFCO in October the gentleman I spoke to had a sheet of paper saying the trade was expected to open in December; however I received an email a fortnight ago with the trades expecting to open and WSO wasn't on there.

I'm presuming the SDR had an impact on the role so does anyone have any insider info on expected or possible dates for this trade?

With the demise of Nimrod there are a lot of WSOps twiddling their thumbs at the moment whilst they find alternative employment.

For anyone interested: I spoke to the careers line this afternoon and they have advised me that the Weapons System Officer trade will not open until December 2012 :(
