Spent an enjoyable hour or three trawling through Goatpedia last night.....a hearty well done to those who set it up and those who have contributed.

Noticed that a few of the sayings that were in common use during my service appear now to be defunct,this i suppose is only natural.

Do any of the older goaters remember the expresion"You cant bend it?"bend of course meaning to break.


Commonly used by lineys to describe anything top of the range or new service kit Gucci would appear to be a exact replacement.

Still in use when i left in 89.
