What's going on - Marvin Gaye. One of the first concept albums and on of the first to make us aware of what was happening to the planet, poverty and the futility of war.

However "24 Carat Purple" or "Rainbow Rising" are my ultimate albums.

Agree good stuff I'm also quite happy to listen to Deepest Purple, but for me its Machine Head very difficult to drive at legal speeds with Highway Star belting out of the speakers. Honorable mention to Meatloaf and Bat Out of Hell also needed.

Rattus Norvegicus by The Stranglers. Takes me back to 77.

Dark Side Of The Moon, on white vinyl, german version. Purchased from the Naafi, Wilders, 1978! Still in pristine condition!

Can't go wrong with these.....

4 out of 4 for you there mate, however add in some Arcade Fire - Funeral, Portishead - Dummy and a 20 year old classic this year U2 - Achtung Baby.

I have very diverse musical tastes so difficult to choose an absolute favourite but The Who - Meaty, Beaty, Big & Bouncy is right up there. Boris the Spider anyone?

For me,depending on my mood,it's Pat Benatar 'Get Nervous',Phillip Bailey'Chinese Wall' or Lissie 'Catching a Tiger'

Pearl Jam 10 still sounds amazing after all this time. The black album Metallica nuff said, Nevermind Nirvana.. and the prodigy experience album :PDT_Xtremez_14:

‘’Dark Side of the Moon’’

Pompous

Overblown

Self indulgent

…………………..

Turn it up to 11

Funking marvellous!!!!!

For me

Deceptive Bends - 10CC
New World record - ELO
City to City - Gerry Rafferty
War of The Worlds - Jeff Lynn

i remember going out to purchase jeff Lynns follow up to War of the worlds - 'Spartacus'. Not a patch on his first endeavour although Catherine Zeta Jones was in it, so not a dead loss.
