An interesting read, seems the two winged master race could be in trouble when taking on AI in future combat senarios. Yanks throwing big bucks at it and we have two guys from Cranfield Uni with a lap top program that could fit on a phone. I think the next conflict will be very different to the last one in Afghanistan, Drones, Cyber and home based social media stoked Sympathisers.
 
It is likely to be different, yes. But we should not lose sight of the fact that Russia has been putting lots of boots on the ground in Ukraine and both N Korea and China are not known for their care and consideration towards their populations so would be likely to throw manpower into any conflict irrespective of whatever casualties drones etc inflict. I suspect we could run out of technological weapons before they ran out of manpower.......
