If not, should they be? I think it's a brilliant resource, but I can see why the main bosses might not like us using it. At least in work time!

I think the hierarchy SHOULD read it. They'd get a genuine insight into the true level of morale. They'd also realise that the scum can have intelligent discussions about a wide range of subjects.

Keep them away from the Pigs Bar, though. They just wouldn't get it. :PDT_Xtremez_30:

As you would expect there is some winging and moaning on here, but there is a fair amount of constructive criticism and some great ideas for all to see. As CinC strike once said to me "In my command I would like 30,000 individuals with their own brains and their own ideas to bring to the organization"

I know for a fact that my Wing Comander looks at it. He told me when he saw my tie pin. I thought it best if I didn't tell him who I was though!!

Well I'm deffo putting it in my additional duties box, spend enough time on it and get more gen off it than I do from the personality vacuum that runs our wing. But then again I figure with 2 years to do it ain't gonna harm my career.

The Goat now gets a mention in DV interviews. Its a sign of the times when one is asked (in addition to the usual do you read porn, are you a member of the communist party etc )"do you read or contribute to the E-Goat forum".

Funny that....only last week were we at ISL reminded of the need for PERSEC whilst using military-themed forum sites.

I know definatley that my bosses look here because of a rather blatant post and we could all work out who done it.
A one way conversation then happened. The Bosses know what is getting said but its down to them to act on it. Right or wrong.

I know for a fact that our Sengo reads here (or he did while the sqn was on det) as he thanked me for keeping them amused.

I unlike many on here use my work nickname and am not scared or frightened to tell the truth as i see it.........I have had no one way conversations (due to the goat), but have had many "conversations" in the Jengos unnoffical office under the stairs (those on the sqn will know what i mean !)

You know what they say, the truth hurts and if the bosses can't handle it.....TOUGH
