Why, you think he was going to be sacked? :PDT_Xtremez_35:

Sheesh.

BTW, Shanks also said that if Everton were playing at the bottom of his garden he'd draw the curtains :PDT_Xtremez_30:

Not seen much news this week?
Being told to stop complaining and get on with it by his septic bosses was a good start.

He seems a little flustered of late.

Of course I've seen the news. I just don't necessarily associate everything I see in the press re football managers with an imminent sacking or resignation thats all.
Of course, if it gets said often enough, e.g. McLaren, then eventually it comes to pass.

At the risk of bringing this back on topic the Brummies have just got a second goal.

We are officially in a Relegation fight.

Mate., (Albert) What is going on with the NE clubs? I'm not having a pop, just asking a question.

4-1 to Everton now.

0-3 FT, 4-1 still playing, 2-0 still playing, . On the bright side Derby are doomed so there's only two places left to fight for with Wigan, Birmingham, Reading and Co.
If the mighty Stanley got promoted three times then we too could be involved in televised matches, multimillion pound TV deals and a premiership relegation dogfight. If you think it's hard in the top flight try league 2 with a crowd average of lower than the number of stewards and coppers needed for your games.

Can't speak for the Jawdees and the Deck-chairs but our lot can't score when they have the Lion's share of possesion. It's happened again today.

Lot's of fans want Southgate to be a success, particularly after the Ginger (unt from York, but can only see Relegation staring at us unless something happens - and QUICK.

I can see us drawing a non-league team in the FA Cup 3rd Round and losing at home.

Chairman Steve Gibson, up until now a revered figure on Teesside, is starting to attract a bit of grief. This is due to his loyalty to the managers that he appoints.

We need to strengthen the team, mainly up front, in the Transfer Window or we are doomed.

The only positive at the moment is that there could be a number of teams involved in a dogfight to survive.

By the way, it's now 0-3. Another Schwarzer clanger.

Cheers for that AP. Good luck.:PDT_Xtremez_30:
Now 5-1 with Johnson and Anichebe now on.:S
6 now. AJ

7!:0 :PDT_Xtremez_30:

That is going to be one unhappy ride back to the northeast with Roy Keane and his battered warriors :PDT_Xtremez_34:

We actually move above the Mackems. Or is it they move below us? Funny old game.

Big rumours doing the rounds - Southgate to fall on his sword.

Poor poor Captain Slog ......... our boys showing how football should be played in England jsut happens the Mackems got both barrels.

Never mind CS I promise not to gloat !!!!!!!!!!

Anyway lets hope the red sh*te do lose the manager and take a tumble downwards ......... make my fecking year that would.

7-1 at fortress Goodison .......... result

Shocking result for Sunderland.

I was never expecting for us to get much from Goodison, a draw at best, and certainly didn't expect us to be on the receiving end of 7 (seven) goals. You know things aren't good when they put the score on the vidiprinter as a word in brackets after the number.

And why is it that when there's a high scoring game the team on the receiving end nearly always manages to get a goal? You don't see 7-0 very often...
