And why is it that when there's a high scoring game the team on the receiving end nearly always manages to get a goal? You don't see 7-0 very often...

Off Topic Everton win 7-1, just put Arteta in my fantasy team last ight and he didnt even score, think he might have provided an assist. Sods law
 
Well, were do I start? The last two times we were in the premiership we were absolutely hopeless. The best we could hope for was a 0-0 draw. However, this time, we had a light at the end of the tunnel but today it was a 125 running us down.

So what do I Say? Last week we played the best football of the season and we should have beaten the Bar-Codes and we would have except for a fluke goal. Today we had a very bad day at the office and I believe we have to put it down to one of those days. All due respect to Everton who I regard as a very good side, I did not expect us to get anything out of today’s game and so it proved. Keano said at the beginning of the week that Everton were the blue print to follow with regards to building a team and that was proven true today. If you stick with your manager, then results can only get better. I am sure that Niall Quinn will still back Kean (and so he should), in fact he is on record as saying that if Kean goes he would follow and that would be the ultimate disaster,

So, we have to except today’s result and look forward to next weeks game against Derby – a 6 pointer ever there was one. But whatever happens, I am sure all Sunderland supporters out there will know what I mean when I say – SUNDERLAND TILL I DIE.

Capt now you are in the bottom 3 :PDT_Xtremez_26: below the smoggies and also below your favourite team in black and white. The Derby game is now crucial if you don't beat them the writings on the wall for a very bad season.
I reckon if you collect the majority of the points available from your own private 3 team Northeast mini-league you could well stay up and might even condem one of your local rivals to fizzy pop football.

We will beat Derby on Saturday. Over recent years when we've taken a big hammering from someone we turn it around afterwards. I'm not worried about Derby, sure we need a win, but it's the upcoming Chelsea, Villa and ManUre matches we need to play well and catch up on a few points.
