Just this week got the nod from the boarding officer at Cranwell that I'm considered qualified to apply, but the AFCO's shut until the 3rd of Jan! Hopefully will still meet the deadline...
 
I wouldn't be concerned if i was you. Although I've had my P2 brief, I'm still waiting on Cranwell to approve my medical docs and give the go ahead for me to have the P2 filter interview. Which AFCO are you going through?
 
Is this really a good scheme or are we better off getting a BEng off our own backs and then leave the raf for a civvy graduate job?

Even if the civvy pay isn't much better, at least we'd have a better lifestyle with less bs?
 
I've just seen about this, but with an upper age limit of 40 (at time of entry to training) I've missed my chance. Bugger.

Oberon, it is always worth testing the system on things like this. Have a chat with your TDO or CCLO and get them to call Cranwell to see how hard and fast the rules are.

There are rumours of people completing the BES but purposefully failing IOT. As I say, these are only rumours...
